Letter written to E. B. Gaston from a person in Daphne, Alabama. Letter points out numerous aspects of water acquisition in Fairhope. Mr. Gaston is first congratulated in getting pipe up. The writer then goes into great detail on the cost and other factors of using a wooden aqueduct, preferably above ground. He says he can supply it for 10 cents per pound and enclosed samples of rubber for covering valves necessary for different levels.
