    Meeting Minutes dated 1/2/1895 of the Fairhope Industrial Association in Battles, Alabama. Topics included approving purchase of an additional 3 acres from Mrs. Tatum, identification of timbers along the shoreline for use as pilings for the wharf, laying out streets, one 66 feet wide and the other 80 feet wide, and approval of building the store, with Brother Dellgren supervising and Brother Michaels hired to build it.

    Meeting Minutes dated 2/5/1895 of the Executive Council of the Fairhope Industrial Association meeting in Baldwin County, Alabama. C.L. Coleman elected Secretary pro-tem. Bills submitted by J. P. Hunnel were accepted for payment. C. L. Coleman bid $76 at a sheriff's sale of the Jerome Stapleton claim of land between Stacks and Marshal's Gully. George Pollay reported good progress in acquiring Lewis claim to the Bowen Land.

    Meeting Minutes dated 2/7/1895 of the Executive Council of the Fairhope Industrial Association. George Pollay reported his agreement with Nancy Lewis to buy the Bowen land and the improvements for $100. Gaston reported the purchase of 200 acres of Bowen land including 40 acres claimed by Nancy Lewis for $250. Motion to reimburse money paid by Mr. Dellgren to the Merchanise fund was rescinded.

    Correspondence (A) of the Fairhope Single Tax Corporation dated 1935-1961. 6.17.44 contains some interesting information about Reverand August Dellgren who was one of first contingent to arrive at Fairhope in 1894. He stayed only until the following April.
