Meeting Minutes of the Fairhope Industrial Association dated October 10, 1894 saying that J. P. Hunnel and E. B. Gaston are appointed to represent the Executive Council in the Fairhope Colony. December 21, 1894 a petition was presented for the submission to a vote for an amendment to the constitution providing that in elections of officers and in local affairs, only those who were in person on Colony grounds be entitled to vote. An election was called for January 22, 1895. February 7, 1895 Annual Election- L. R. Clements, E. B. Gaston, C. L. Coleman, George Pollay, August Dellgren, James P. Hunnel and E. Smith were all elected. |
