The directors authorized that work on wharf hill be completed, that a "competent man" be hired to examine the condition of the wharf and make a report, that the complaint by fishermen of the rude behavior of the wharfinger be brought to Mr. Patterson's attention, and that bills be paid.

"Matter of use of warehouse as a place for doing private business" is brought up and decided it must be stopped. Other settlements and bills paid.
