    Letter written to E. B. Gaston on March 27, 1894 from Jacob Naschold regarding John W. Breidenthal' s mention of his name as a friend fo the Freeland idea. Mr. Naschold notes he has organized a Freeland Association Philadelphia on February 19, 1894 and that they had 18 American and German members. He mentions Dr. Theo. Hertzka's Freeland Movement and is asking for Mr. Gaston's co-operation in his efforts.

    Letter written to E. B. Gaston on May 26, 1894 from Jacob Naschold of Philadelphia, Pennsylavania acknowledging receipt of the Altrurian newspaper and the Liberty Bell. He is in sympathy with Gaston's but disagrees with some aspects which he goes on to comare with the Herzka's ideas and the Freeland Colony.

    Leaflet describing "Freeland" a new commonwealth founded by Professor Dr. Theodor Hertzka of Vienna, Austria. The purpose of the leafet is to "arouse an intelligent curiosity among those who are unacquainted with" Hertzka's proposals in Freeland, a book about economic justice. It asks that inquiries be sent to Jacob Naschold of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Joseph Edelmann of Camden, New Jersey.

    Letter written to E. B. Gaston on November 9, 1894 from John Streble of Kirwin, Kansas, saying that he is a disciple of (Michael) Flurscheim, comparing the philosophies of the Freeland Colony the Topolobampo Bay Colony and the proposed Fairhope Colony, saying he would like to come in a years time but will give $25 with application form and make monthly payments after that.

    Letter written to E. B. Gaston on January 28, 1894 from Charles E. Smith of Denver, Colorado telling him about the progress of his planned Co-operative Colony on the Ute Indian reservation in Colorado. He asks Gaston for the Freeland Bylaws, asks him to mention his Colony to the people in Des Moines, describes the advantages of Colorado as a location for a Co-operative Colony and asks if he knows about the people who have left Topolobampo.

    Letter written to E. B. Gaston on September 8, 1894 from John C. Teas of Carthage, Missouri acknowledging receipt of information on the Fairhope Industrial Association. He says that he has mailed Gaston a copy of the Freeland newspaper describing the Wayland plan. He asks for 6 copies of the 6-page circular.

Hawkins of Essex, England saying that he is an ardent supporter of the Single Tax either as expounded by Henry George or Dr. Hertzka.     Letter dated 4/9/1897 to E. B. Gaston from Theodore W. Siddall in Atlanta, Georgia.
