In the 10/14/1908 meeting the manager overseeing the boat is authorized to borrown $350 to repair the boiler on the Steamer Fairhope II. In the 1/5/1909 meeting, the president was authorized to outline an agreement with M. V. Watros to be clerk of the boat.

Meeting Minutes dated 1/19/1909 of the Fairhope Improvement Company. E. B. Gaston, president; G.M. Bancroft, secretary; J. W. Braam, treasurer. Motion was made to arbitrate a difference in accounts between Mr. Owen Roberts, captain of the Steamer Fairhope II, and the Fairhope Improvement Company. The secretary was authorized to take possession of a roll-top desk owned by the company from the residence of James Bellangee.
