At the time, the business was located at 62 Fairhope Avenue and is seen through the long leaf pine trees from Knoll Park across the street. The dealership later moved 'uptown' to 60 North Section Street. It was purchased by Bill Steber in 1968. Mr. T. J. Klumpp served as mayor of Fairhope.
