Gaston on January 18, 1894 from George Lang (Chairman, Peoples's Party Central Committee, Ninth Congressional District) of Woodbine, Iowa saying that he wants to be counted in on Colony. Recommends southeast Missouri, Tennessee or northern Arkansas as possible locations for the Colony. George Lang was one of the first officers of the Fairhope Industrial Association.
