Scrapbook (3 of 3), likely of E. B. Gaston, although attributed to C. A. Gaston on archival folder. Consists of newspaper clippings from The Forum, and possibly No Taxes, newspapers. (The headings are cut off, so cannot verify.) Both are editred by L. D. Beckwith. Dates are all 1935: 2/11, 2/25, 3/11, 3/25, 4/8, 4/22, 5/6, and 5/20. Topics includes Georgist issues, politics of the day, New Deal, Roosevelt administration, Socialism, Upton Sinclair, TVA, Huey Long and more. 5/7/18 is a letter to the editor of The Forum from Bolton Hall referencing a letter by Gaston. |
