Photograph c.1930s of the Golf, Gun and Country Club clubhouse in Fairhope, Alabama. The nine-hole golf course opened in 1916, and the clubhouse was built in 1922. The Fairhope Single Tax Corporation developed the golf course area for lease beginning in the mid-1950s. This is located within the block of Fairhope Avenue, Mershon Street, Call Street and Johnson Avenue and is now a private home. The photograph is from the 1995 Fairhope High School Pirateer calendar.
