Photograph by Frank Stewart, The Picture Man, of the Fairhope Golf, Gun and Country Club Clubhouse. The golf course was built in 1916 on Bayou Cherbon (aka Big Mouth Gully, Davis Gully, Marshall's Gully) on the south side of Fairhope Avenue at Johnson Street. The course extended almost to Morphy Avenue. The clubhouse pictured here was built in 1922. The FSTC developed the property in 1955 for houses. From the Paul M.
