Photograph by Arthur M. Dealy dated 1900 of Fairhope Avenue in Fairhope, Alabama. The picture is taken looking east northeas. The buildings are on the north side of Fairhope Avenue. The first building on the left is Mrs. Anne B. Call's Millinery, Dry Goods and Ladies' Furnishings shop (renamed Pinequat Shop around 1915). The second building is Mershon Brothers Merchandising Store which was at the northwest corner of Fairhope Avenue and Section Street. The large structure on the right is Clement L. Coleman's first house in Fairhope before he moved to Ingleside. The horse and buggy carries a woman and two children. There is a boy standing in the street outside Mershon's and another horse and buggy further east on Fairhope Avenue.
