Photographs and Historic Sites Survey Update Form dated 2014 of 7 Church Street North in Fairhope, Alabama which was DuBrock's Laundry beginning in 1923. This building is located in the Downtown Fairhope Historic District. See 34_71_001-127 for all buildings in this District or search "Downtown Fairhope Historic District." Note: The building is actually BOTH 7 Church Street North and 9 Church Street North. See 34_72_005-007 for another record about the old laundry building with a different photo. Also, note that a later addition (no date) was added to the north end of the building as is identified as 11 Church Street North. See 34_72_008-010 for details. The Survey Form indicates the building was built c.1928, but according to Fairhope Courier articles, the Laundry opened in 1923. The building was a cabinet maker's shop starting in the 1950s.
