Two photograph postcards by photographer Frank Stewart, dated 1908, of The Columns House, built in 1904 by J.J. Mogg, and owned at the time of these pictures by the Slosson family. The house is at the northeast corner of Bayview Street and Magnolia Avenue facing west towards Mobile Bay in Fairhope Alabama. A few houses to the left (north) of this was the house of Mr. and Mrs. W. S. Sumner called 'Winterhaven." From the Bass Slosson Sundberg Photo Collection. |
