Photograph c.1935-1940 of an aerial view of Fairhope Avenue in Fairhope, Alabama. The picture is taken from the water tank which stood behind where the Fairhope Museum of History is located today. The bottom left shows Fairhope Pharmacy and the businesses on the south side of the street. The Mecca Service station with its unusual roof is where Church Street intersects with Fairhope Avenue. The corner of the Fairhope Christian Church is seen in the top left corner of the picture. St. James Avenue runs west through the sparse trees.
