Photograph c. early 1890s of the Worcester Single Tax Club in Massachusetts. Prescott A. Parker (aka P. A. Parker) is seen to the left of the man standing in the center of the pciture. Parker was an early resident and strong proponent of the single tax colony in Fairhope, Alabama. He was a surveyor, developer, engineer and businessman who helped plat early Fairhope. He later moved to Volanta and the Montrose area. His book the "Story of Tensaw, Blakley, Spanish Fort and Fort Mims" (in which he spelled Blakeley incorrectly) is available at 34_92_001_021 in these online Archives.
