    Letter dated 7/26/1890 to E. B. Gaston from Kelley Mount, requesting information about a proposed colony in Louisiana based on the Bellamy plan. Mount, a professional stenographer and typewriter in Osaswatomie, Kansas, had spent several years in Louisiana, and considers parts of the state "the garden spots of the earth." Mount read an article in the Kanasas City Journal newspaper which prompted the request for information.
