    Two editions of a promotional booklet with text, photographs and advertisements. One is hand-penciled with a date of 1910 and the other is without a date.     Letter dated 1/24/1908 to E. B. Gaston from John P. Lowell in Mobile, Alabama. Lowell mentions that, in the last issue of the Courier, he does not see an advertisement about Mardi Gras, and he thinks the Fairhope Courier should have its share of ad money. He suggest Gaston come to Mobile and see Mr. Wilson. He asks Gaston about other issues concerning Mr. Ring and Mr. Lyons, and encourages Gaston to come to Mobile to see him.

Lowell and his wife visited Fairhope on 3/8/1908, and called on the Gaston home, only to find that Gaston's son was sick with appendicitis and Mr. and Mrs. Gaston occupied.
