Letter written to E. B. Gaston by F. L. Brown concerning bringing an engine and boiler to Fairhope within a load of 40,000 pounds. Asked to get Capt. Lawrence to find a large flat boat. Mentions co-operative farm scheme as being good. Notes his daughter Daphne had the mumps and getting it lanced and her care excited the mother so much she had to stay in bed for a week. |
