Letter dated 9/18/1907 to E. Q. Norton, editor of the Daphne Standard newspaper in Daphne, Alabama, from Daniel Kiefer in Cincinnati, Ohio. Kiefer is responding to Norton's article objecting to how the Fairhope Single Tax Corporation handles the land tax issue. Kiefer says Norton's position does not adhere to single tax principles and that Norton should not call himself a single taxer. Kiefer says "I confess utter inability to see any explanation whatever for your position which will still leave it possible to have confidence in your sincerity." Note: there are several copies of this letter following v.9.13. |
