Description |
Meeting MInutes dated 10/10/1895 of the Executive Council of the Fairhope Industrial Assocation. J. H. Springer and full council in attendance. Wharf Committee reported a little progress due to a delay in the arrival of lumber. Treasurer's Report was submitted. Since Gaston's meeting with Mr. Oswalt and Mr. Ettel with the County was not successful in making a change to a road, Gaston was instructed to prepared a petition to file with the Baldwin County Commission about the road. Wharf Committee was instructed to draw up rules and regulations for using the wharf. Lot applications for G. A. Mershon and H. M. Mershon were considered. Authorization given to widen a 40 foot street to 50 feet. The 66 foot wide street was names "Magnolia Avenue." The secretary was instructed to post a notice "no shooting on Colony lands." |
