Description |
Letter dated 9/18/1915 to Dr. and Mrs. Slosson and Miss Nellie from E. B. Gaston. Gaston explains in detail the current financial status of the People's Railroad Company. He explains that the new pier on Magnolia Beach has taken business from the Fairhope Wharf, and "the Miller road has been completed to cross our main artery of travel from the east," which cuts off business from that sector. He asks if Slosson would be "willing to take over" a note on the Railroad. |
