Letter to Albert Kimsey Owen from E. B. Gaston dated May 31, 1891. Gaston is writing from Des Moines, Iowa. He has recently failed in his attempt to start a cooperative colony (National Cooperative Company) in Lake Charles, Louisiana. He is writing Owen about Owen's Integral Cooperation plan and the Pacific City colony at Tpolobampo bay in Mexico. Included is a letter from Ray Reynolds, dated 1966, who sent the letter to E. B. Gaston's son Dr. C. A. Gaston. Reynolds asks Gaston for information about Marie Howland. Cataloger's note: Reynolds would write "Cat's Paw Utopia" (1972) about the Topolobampo bay Colony in which Marie Howland's role there is discussed. From the Paul M.
