Undated letter (probably 1932-33) to members of the Fairhope Single Tax Corporation urging support of a constitutional amendment to change how taxes are paid in relation to rent. The FSTC financial safety is under threat due to the depression, the "vicious land system," the decrease in wharfage fees due to the opening of the Cochrane Bridge and the lack of a "modern, hard-surfaced through highway."
