Correspondence of secretaries of the Fairhope Single Tax Corporation (E. B. Gaston and C. A. Gaston), dated 1934-1952, (letter W).
Includes general business correspondence of the FSTC: letters of inquiry about the Colony, letters of inquiry about leasing lands, records, rents and other day-to-day business correspondence.
In addition, there is correspondence between C. A. Gaston and Fiske Warren (and other Warren family members) about property they lease in Fairhope. 5.10 63-65 is an essay on Tahanto, Warren's colony in Harvard, Massachusetts.
5.10.100-102 is correspondence about establishing a public park on Colony land next to the Pinequat Shop in 1933.
5.101.204-212 is correspondence between brothers C. A. Gaston and James E. Gaston and their cousin Herbert Woodward, a banker in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Rosters of property taxes paid to the Baldwin County Tax Collector for 1939 and 1949 are included.
