Letter dated 6/10/1931 to A. E. Schalkenbach, a former Trustee of the Fairhope Single Tax Corporation, from Anne Belangee Call, a current Trustee. Both have been working on the issue of the constitutionality of the transfer of parkland from the FSTC to the Town of Fairhope, an issue which has passed the FSTC Council Call is updated Schalkenbach on the current situation in Fairhope, and says she has asked attorney Samuel M. Johnston to give her an estimate of legal costs if she decided to take the matter to court. She can only afford about $100 in legal fees. |
