Description |
1951 Annual Report of the Fairhope Single Tax Corporation. It was noted that the expenditure of the trust fund provided by the excess of rent reciepts over and above the amount needed to pay taxes and operating expenses should supply our lessees with public improvements and services in marked contrast to the improvements and services available in the non colony sections of the community where our public revenune plan is not in force. In this way we can most effectively bring the superiority of our plan to public attention. Six new members-W. Snell, Marvin Nichols, Alexis C. Ferm from New Jersey, Henry W. Rowe, Lillian B. Totten, Daphne B. Anderson (daughter of Frank L. and Minnie Brown). Deaths-Delia K. Bancroft, Daphne L. E. Curtis and E. C. Wolcott |
