Description |
Letter dated 10/6/1907 to E. B. Gaston from James Bellagee. This is a long letter and it is difficult to decipher where it starts and ends, it may be a draft. Mr. Bellangee is expressing discontent over Gaston's handling of the Fairhope Courier. He says that as editor of the Fairhope Courier Gaston has weight and influence with the outside world and that greater circumspection must be used in the future. "We can all pull together for affirmative measures in which we all agree but we will . . . if we are to be sneered at and prodded with misrepresentation. "Cut it out! Gaston! Cut it out! You can't afford it." |
