Description |
Meeting Minutes of the Fairhope Industrial Association dated June 9, 1896. Wharfinger gave report on wharf business. Treasurer (C. L. Coleman) gave report of business. William Stimpson (Trustee) reported that he had examined the books and office reports for April and May. E. B. Gaston gave the Wharf Committe report. C. L. Coleman reported strengthening the stairway to South Park. Matter of protecting Fairhope Avenue from washing out was discussed. Moved and carried that C. L. Coleman take charge of the work. N. Mershon made application for 1/2 acre. E. B. Gaston applied for lease of 1 1/2 acre on Fairhope and Section for another year. Matter of Captain Laurence bringing freight ashore on the Fairhope Industrial Association beach without paying wharfage was discussed. Bills paid. |
