Letter written to E. B. Gaston dated 04/03/1894 from W. E. Brokaw of St. Louis, Missouri. Brokaw, editor of The Courier Publishing Company, says he is too busy establishing his single tax newspaper to participate in Gaston's colony, and tells of his disappointment in the small number of subscribers for his paper. He predicts the Single Tax will be in operation in the U. S. in 1900. |
