Description |
Letter dated 4/14/1902 to E. B. Gaston from R. F. Powell in Philadephia, Pennsylvania. Powell wants to start "another Fairhope" on farm land along the railroad line between Philadelphia and New York. He has spoken with Bolton Hall, Lawson Purdy, Jno. S. Crosby, Judge Seaburg and others about the feasibility of the plan. He says these men have doubts about Fairhope's success and cannot condone his project based on these doubts. He has a long list of detailed questions for Gaston and asks him to write a long letter answering them. |
