Description |
Letter to E. B. Gaston from Mr. R. F. Powell on 3/6/1906. Starts out that he did not think he was too hard on Miller, in fact, he did not hit him half hard enough. Powell has been trying to buy a little land about Fairhope does not understand opposition. provided an enclosed letter from Dr. Machintosh and his letter to him showing he gave him no cause but he has to lie low and say nothing except when a kind like Miller shams himself. He and Mr. Fels have been trying to get a Mr. Post to give Fairhope a writeup. Mr. Post may come to Fairhope and give an address if his expenses were covered. He hopes to be able to buy some land in Fairhope but has had problems. (savan red flagged and will finish later) |
