Miller from Gaston in which Gaston mentions the Mann family, its contributions to Fairhope's founding and current occupancy status in the Colony. 3.26.24-36 is a series of letters about pending legislation in the U. S. Congress regarding the introduction of an excise tax of 1% on land valued over $3,000. 3.26.49-50 is a letter about Old Age Pensions, referring the correspondent to Felix Beiser or John R. Campbell in Fairhope. 3.25.38-48 is a series of letters and correspondence about criticism of the single tax and its relevance to free trade. |
