Letters dated May, 1938 between Norvin DuBrock, owner of DuBrock Laundry in Fairhope, and Dr. C. A. Gaston, secretary of the Fairhope Single Tax Corporation. Gaston is suggesting that due to complaints received at FSTC as well as the Town of Fairhope about the Laundry's waste water disposal method, smoke, steam whistle noise and other nuisances, that Mr. DuBrock consider relocating his business to the old canning plant further east on Fairhope Avenue. DuBrock is surprised since he feels he has addressed every complaint. |
