Interview (audio only) titled "Eastern Shore During the Colonial Period" dated June 29, 2013. Fairhope Museum of History, Director Donnie Barrett is interviewed by Michael Titford. In this wide-ranging interview, Barrett discusses the history of the Eastern Shore of Mobile Bay through the transition to Colonial times from when the population was primarily Native American Indian. Topics include Native American pottery, various settlements, villages and plantations located along Mobile Bay, influences of the French, British and Spanish rule, various potters and planters, and the overall change due to the mixing of cultures during this period.
