Description |
Letter dated 4/14/1926 to E. B. Gaston from J. H. Webb, attorney for the Fairhope Single Tax Corporation and the now defunct People's Railroad Company. The People's Railroad Company is in receivership and Webb is handling the procedure. He has checked on the claims filed againt the Railroad by bondholders, and finds only a small amount has been claimed. He feels certain bondholders are not aware of the fate of the Company, and feels they must be contacted. He asked Gaston to provide him the names and addresses of the bondholders and suggests Gaston put a notice on the front page fo the Fairhope Courier newspaper. |
