Description |
Copy of a letter dated 3/12/1905 to E. B. Gaston from R. S. McMahon of New Iberia, Louisiana who has just returned from Fairhope which he sees as a "magnificent success" and "that its future welfare contains a promise of freedom for the world." He is worried about the venomous attacks being made on the Fairhope Colony by Dr. Greeno and Dr. Hail. He has just met with Mr. Weeks, who is fine lawyer and active Single Taxer and given him the constitution of the Fairhope Single Tax Corporation as well as a verbal report of conditions. Gaston can count on his assistance. |
