Description |
Letter dated 6/13/1902 to E. B. Gaston from Joseph Fels letting him know that he is returning to Philadelphia from London and asking him to change his mailing address to Philadelphia until further notice. He encloses communications from Mr. H. P. Skinner and asks Gaston to let him know whatever he knows about Skinner and also Brokaw. He also asks to see the letter Gaston received from Mr. J. E. Powers of Philadelphia and the reply Gaston made to him. Fels thinks he may be able to influence Mr. Powers to "write up some stuff that will popularise and make known what the (Fairhope) colony is trying to do." He suggests that Mr. Parker get up a map of Fairhope showing the plots of land under the control of the Fairhope Industrial Association and those that are private property including the prices of the privately owned property. |
