Meeting Minutes of the Fairhope Single Tax Corporation dated 1918. The Colony Council usually met twice per month. Includes general Colony correspondece: financial reports, leases and the Annual Meeting minutes. Among highlights are: January 15, 1918 FSTC addresses how to get money owed the Colony from Marlow Turpentine Company. January 24, 1918: Annual Meeting. Trustees report wharf in bad condition. March 4, 1918: The Town of Fairhope wants the FSTC to remove structures under the People's Railroad trestle, but the FSTC believes that porperty is theirs, and the Town of Fairhope has no right to bring up this issue. March 18, 1918: Discussion of enlarging the Cemetery. April 15, 1918: The FSTC considers a cooperative plan with the Town of Fairhopes to buy a Ford tractor and grader for street repair and transporting equipment and men to fires.
