Description |
Letter dated 10/30/1908 to William Stimpson in Fairhope from Joseph Fels. Fels is responding to Stimpson's "assurances of goodwill" and acknowleges Stimpson's positive comments about the agricultural experiments Fels is sponsoring in England. Fels hopes Stimpson is encouraging people in Fairhope to pursue agriculture for garden markets. He says there is so much water in Fairhope, a resource needed for successful and profitable cultivation. He hopes to visit Fairhope later in the year. |
