Letter to Ernest B. Gaston, Des Moines, Iowa, from D. A. Coats, Snell, Simmons and Company, Real Estate Agents, Arkansas, dated 1894/05/02. Discusses land in the area and states climate is as good as southern California and as healthy. They have R.R. and water transportation and the soil is easily cultivated and productive. He encourages Gaston to come soon in order to get a sizable tract of land for the proposed colony. He is a personal friend of T. E. Mann and has known him since childhood. Mentions S. S. Mann. |
