Description |
This postcard is continuing correspondence dated 8/23/1894 from Gilbert Anderson of St. Louis, Missouri to E. B. Gaston, Secretary of the Fairhope Industrial Association in Des Moines, Iowa. Anderson has received the report of the Location Committee and other Fairhope-related materials. He wishes to wait about ten days before sending back his ballot, on which he, as a member of the FIA, will vote on Fairhope's location. He has a friend who has been to Alabama and wants to discuss the site with him. Further, he tells Gaston that a potential member, a Mr. Greenway, has "hesitated" about becoming a member of the FIA. |
