Meeting Minutes of the Wharf Company dated 8/1/1914 reporting interest payments on wharf certificates. Gaston, Berglin and N. Mershon have been served in their roles as members of the Wharf Company in a suit "for alleged delivery of CODs to Mershon Merchandising Company without collection and return of same." Motion made to consult with attorney George Crawford. Gaston reports that the Fairhope Single Tax Corporation Council recommends application of wharf earnings toward repairing and strenghening the wharf, since it will have heavy use by the People's Railroad Company. |
