Description |
Letter dated 12/26/1896 to E. B. Gaston from James Bellangee in Des Moines, Iowa. Bellangee is commenting on some letters he has received from S. Howard Leech, Mr. Young, and "Van." He comments on a letter Van sent to Young in which Van "raved and swore about the people of Fairhope but said the climate and country was all right." Bellangee writes about wanting to come to Fairhope and his interest in the the school and how he might want to help. But he says, at his age, he is interested in writing, knows he needs readers and worries his writing will be too theoretical for Fairhope. |
