Donnie Barrett, former Director of the Fairhope Museum, provides information on why the Fairhope founders came to Alabama to set up a model community and the reform ideas they brought with them. He discusses the Populist movement of the late 19th century and the rise of the Single Tax Colony in Fairhope.
