Description |
Letter dated 6/3/1930 to the Executive Council of the Fairhope Single Tax Corporation from Anne B. Call, Trustee bemoaning the destruction of the trees on the beach front in order to make way for a ball park. She calls their attention to the fact that the resolution was passed, permitting the use of the site as a baseball park, making no requirements of the users to keep the grounds clean or to have the funds sufficient to complete the project. She reminds them that every member has an equal share in the physical assets of the corporation and should be allowed an opportunity to register his wishes before anything is destroyed to the extent that it cannot be replaced. |
