Scrapbook of Anne B. Call, 1932-1937, including Colony Council Proceedings 1/18/1932-6/20/1933. Key topics of the proceedings include; the conveyence of the wharf to the Fairhope Transportation and Excursion Company, a "gateway amendment" to the constitution making it easier to amend the constitution, the park land lawsuit, the Woman's Coucil Building and the conveyence of the Golf, Gun and Country Club to the Town of Fairhope. There is also a letter dated 5/4/1933 to Anne B. Call from attorney Samuel M. Johnston saying that the Circuit Court has ruled against them and they will have to appeal before the Supreme Court of Alabama and her letter latter in May to the Fairhope Single Tax Corporation giving her reasons for not appealing. |
