Letter dated 1/30/1908 to E. B. Gaston from F. K. Perry in Naugatuck, Connecticut. Perry is writing in his print shop late on a cold winter night. He comments on several current issues in Fairhope: Samuel Comings' death, the Wolf-Norton dispute with Fairhope, etc. He tells Gaston of his experience with color printing, putting his son in charge of that portion of the business, and he encourages Gaston to acquire color printing equipment to expand his business. Perry hopes to come to Fairhope to at least live part of the year, and would like to be in the printing business with Gaston, but tells him not to wait for him to arrive. |
