Yes, Bill 214 violates Amendment 14 to the United States Constitution bty seeking to take property without the due process of law. 2, Yes, Bill 214 violates Article XII, Section 238 of the Constitution of Alabama of 1901 by revoking the charter of a corporation in such a manner that injustice shall be done to the stockholders. 3. Yes, Bill 214 violates Article I, Section 22 of the Constitution of Alabama of 1901 impairing contracts. |
