Description |
Letter dated 11/18/1907 written by James Bellangee, perhaps to Joseph Fels. It serves as a cover letter for 1.10.81-82 (a letter from Bellangee to Louis Post). Bellangee tells the recipient that an article written about Fairhope by Mr. A. J. Wolf has been printed in pamphlet form and also sent out as a supplement to the Daphne (Alabama) Standard newspaper by E. Q. Norton, editor. Bellangee says there are gross inaccuracies in Wolf's article and it has a "vindictive" spirit. Further Bellangee says that his (Bellangee's) response to the article has also been printed in the same supplement, but without his permission, and has put him in a difficult position. Bellangee asks for patience while "we settle our differences." |
